How to check NID card online is a common question for us. We need to check national Id cards for many reasons. By checking the NID card online we can ensure it is real or fake identity card. Here is Riazul, I am gonna show you the easiest way to check any NID card only.

How to check nid card online

To check nid card online first go to Play Store and install the online GD app. Open the app and click "Register" and then input that nid number and Date of birth as provided in the National Identity card. After providing nid info press "Check Identity card" Now you can see the Details of that nid card.

When you click "verify nid" if the id card is real, you will see some information like User Name, Father Name, Mother Name and Address. But if the card is Fake, you can see an error message that no records found.

Online GD is a government app that is monitored by Bangladesh Police. Any citizen of this country can apply for online gd using this application. Before writing a General Diary we need to register an account using our national id card. This software checks the id card information for validation. We use this trick to check any nid card.

There are two methods to check nid card online. Using the online website and another way is online GD app. First of all we will try the online gd application by BD police.

Check NID card by Android Phone

Install Online GD app

First, open the Google Play Store app and search for Online GD app, You can see the online GD app authorized by Bangladesh Police. Install the app on your mobile.

Register on online GD App

After installing the app on your phone, Tap on the app and Open it. Click on Register and it will take you to another page. Now input your nid no. and Date of birth on the input fields.

Check NID Card Information

When you fill in both input fields and press the "Verify NID" card, You can see this app show more data about this voter id card.

Check NID card online

To verify any National Identity Card, visit https://ldtax.gov.bd/citizen/register and fill up input fields with mobile number, National Identity Card number, and date of birth to see the particular ID card's information.

This website will show you detailed information according to the nid card when you click the "Next Step" button. If it shows any error or can't find any data, that means something is wrong with this ID card.

Let's see the whole process of checking nid cards online step by step.

Visit ldtax.gov.bd website

First thing first, Open any browser from your Smart Phone or Computer and visit the Bangladesh Land Ministry website. Tap on "Nagorik Corner"  from the left sidebar. After that, you can see a citizen registration form.

Provide nid no. and date of birth

Now you are in the citizen corner page and there is a registration form. In this input form, you can see three input fields. The first input field is for your mobile number, 2nd is for National identity number and the last input field is for providing the date of birth.

Fill up the first input form with your valid 11-digit phone number. In the nid number, the field provides 10 Digit new nid card numbers or 17 Dogit old nid numbers.

In the last field choose the Date of Birth according to the national ID card. You have to follow the sequence of Day, Month, and Year like (dd-mm-yyyy).

You can get an SMS back from nirbachon commission server including nid number and name of the nid owner.
